TransplantREADY®
The objective of the TransplantREADY Endo-In DMEK is to
streamline the DMEK transplant procedure by delivering graft
correctly oriented into the AC with the endothelium inside of the
scroll. As the graft is slowly introduced into the AC, it opens in an
effort to return to its natural configuration of endo-out.

Preparation
Each TransplantREADY DMEK graft is prepared using our
Hydrodissection “Blister” Technique which simultaneously dissects
and stains Descement’s membrane. Endothelial cells are preserved by
limiting tissue manipulation and exposure of endothelium to Trypan
Blue. Documented benefits include 10x less endothelial cell loss
compared to dissection and staining with the SCUBA technique. The
graft is prepunched to desired diameter, premarked with an “S” stamp
or “I-II” peripheral mark, tri-folded endo-in, and preloaded into the
Weiss Glass Cannula.
